Enterprise Level Example
We analysed an existing end to end business process that ranged across multiple separate organisations. This revealed an illogical process with a large number of error-prone manual steps. Analysis of the information being exchanged in the processes revealed that many distinct systems needed much the same information to configure them. This lead directly to the identification of a new standard which is now being developed in an international standards body. Systems developed in compliance with the standard, though deployed in different organisations, will interoperate resulting in a highly automated end to end process with considerably better integrity.
